Is a wireless network secure?
Because wireless nets use radio signals they are inherently vulnerable to hackers. An unsecured wireless network can be compromised by anyone with a wireless laptop, free downloadable software and some spare time to kill. It is in your best interest to ensure that your wireless network is secured using the latest security features. The following security standards are available at the time of this writing: WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA, (Wi-Fi Protected Access), WPA is the latest protocol and highly more secure than WEP. You can find WPA certified wireless products here
